The clauses below are designed to minimize our legal exposure. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; where a term is not enforceable, the rest still applies.

1. No Warranties

SOLONAS (the “App”) and this website (the “Site”) are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation, or that defects will be corrected.

2. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will SOLONAS, its developers, owners, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the App or Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the extent any liability is not legally excludable, our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the App or Site will be limited to the greater of USD $0 or the amount you paid (if any) for the App in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

3. Your Responsibilities

• You control and are responsible for your NAS/WebDAV server, network, and credentials.
• You confirm you have the rights to access and stream the content you play with SOLONAS.
• You will use SOLONAS and the Site in compliance with applicable laws.

4. Third-Party Services

SOLONAS may interact with services you control (e.g., NAS/WebDAV, certificate providers). We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, security, or terms. Your use of them is governed by their own policies.

5. Security & Data

SOLONAS streams directly between your device and your server. We do not host or analyze your music library. For details on what we do (and do not) collect, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SOLONAS and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your content, your server configuration, or your use of the App or Site in violation of these terms or applicable law.

7. Changes & Availability

We may modify or discontinue all or part of the App or Site at any time. We may update these legal terms for clarity, compliance, or product changes. Continued use after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Governing Law; Severability

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence unless otherwise required by mandatory law. If any provision is held unenforceable, it shall be severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will remain in full force and effect.
